About this day out
The Upton Heritage Centre is located in the oldest surviving building in the riverside town of Upton upon Severn, known as The Pepperpot. The recently updated Centre hosts displays illustrating the growth and development of the town, including the River Upton origins, the Civil War and the Battle of Upton Bridge in 1651, changing architecture, life in the past and the floods. A recent addition is a computer-based history kiosk giving visitors the chance to investigate the history of the area further.
