About this day out

Tinkers Park is home of the Claude Jessett Collection in the Sussex Wealden countryside, next to the historic village of Hadlow Down. Begun when Claude Jessett bought his first steam engine 'The Tinker' in 1942, the collection includes steam engines, fairground organs, farming equipment and narrow gauge railways. Visitors can ride the two foot gauge Great Bush Railway, hear the mechanical musical fair organs and meet the mighty steam engines on open days.
