About this day out

The Savill Garden is a 35-acre designed garden with woodland and ever-changing seasonal displays in the heart of Windsor Great Park. Commissioned by King George V and created by horticulturist Eric Savill in 1932, it first opened to paying visitors in 1953. Visitors are recommended to allow 2-3 hours to explore themed areas such as the Dry Garden, Rose Garden, Golden Jubilee Garden and Winter Garden across the seasons.
