- The Atkinson is a large Grade II listed building with accessible toilets throughout and a fully equipped Changing Places facility on the first floor (ceiling track hoist, height-adjustable changing bench, shower). Wheelchairs access the Theatre via a lift from level 2 with accessible seating in row U; the Studio is step-free via main doors. Theatre and Studio have an infra-red hard of hearing system with loanable receivers at no charge, and recommended seats for visually impaired visitors. The Library has ramped entrance, adjustable-height accessible computers, large print and spoken word collections, and a portable hearing loop on request.
