The Shipley Art Gallery in Gateshead is the North East's leading gallery of craft and design, managed by North East Museums on behalf of Gateshead Council. It hosts a wide variety of changing exhibitions, events and creative workshops for children and adults, including the 'Designs for Life' gallery with films, audio points and computer interactives. It also offers a sensory space where visitors can relax, play and explore.
