The Sherlock Holmes Museum is located at 221B Baker Street, London, in a four-storey Georgian townhouse dating back to 1815. According to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories, Sherlock Holmes resided there from 1881 to 1904, and the rooms have been faithfully maintained with authentic Victorian furniture and items relating to Holmes, his friends, adversaries and famous cases. Opened in 1990, the museum attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world.

- Due to the age and Grade II listed status of the building, the museum is unable to provide wheelchair access; it is arranged over several floors connected only by narrow staircases with no lift, so it is not suitable for wheelchair users or those unable to climb stairs independently. The gift shop on the ground floor has one step at the entrance and staff can assist where possible.
