Accessibility
Wheelchair access to the ground floor only, including the main temporary exhibition galleries, Wessex Gallery and Salisbury Gallery; level access throughout the ground floor with a lift to the lecture hall, but the remainder of the first floor is inaccessible. A wheelchair is available for visitors' use if reserved in advance (01722 332151). There is a hearing loop in the lecture hall, large print brochures on request for some galleries, boxes of archaeological handling material available by prior booking, and occasional Relaxed Opening Hours for neuro-atypical visitors or those on the autism spectrum.
Parking
Some parking on the museum's forecourt for orange or blue badge holders, including one space by the front door for use only by disabled people; a space can be reserved if booked in advance.
Dogs
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome, with water provided on request.
