About this day out

The Runway Visitor Park is one of the North West's most popular outdoor attractions, located adjacent to the busy runways of Manchester Airport with a raised viewing area just metres from passing planes. The park is home to a variety of retired aircraft, including Concorde G-BOAC, a former RAF Nimrod, a DC-10, an Avro RJX and a retro Trident airliner. Facilities include a large picnic area, the RVP coffee house, a play area and The Aviation Shop, with live commentary of the airport's operations at weekends.

Accessibility
The main Viewing Mound, Concorde Hangar, Conference Centre and Ringways Restaurant are all accessible by wheelchair. There are two sets of accessible toilets onsite and designated parking spaces for Blue Badge holders, but there are steps up to all aircraft displays. Visitors with visual or hearing impairments wishing to book a public guided tour are encouraged to contact the park in advance.

On-site car and motorbike parking: £6 up to 2 hours, £12 for 2-4 hours, £15 for all stays over 4 hours. Coach parking is a flat rate of £15. Parking is free for conference delegates. Payment by debit/credit card (except American Express), Apple Pay and Android Pay.
Dogs
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome; other dogs are not permitted due to the proximity of the runways.
