About this day out
Old Pulteney is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Wick, Caithness, that has been producing whisky since 1826. Distillery tours take visitors through every stage of crafting the whisky, from its water source at Loch Hempriggs to a tasting at the end. A bar and shop on site are open during opening hours.

April to September: Monday to Saturday 10am – 5pm; October to March: Monday to Friday 10am – 4.30pm (bar and shop open during these hours; booking ahead recommended for tours)
