About this day out
Priest Bank is a 32-acre site in Wensleydale, taken on by Make It Wild in late 2022, consisting largely of traditional meadow divided into two fields. One field provides nesting habitat for curlews, lapwings and other waders, while the other is rich in wild flowers including yellow rattle, knapweed, eyebright, harebell and self heal. Situated off the Roman Road near Bainbridge, the site is not generally open to the public, but people can dedicate wildflowers there.
