About this day out
Nothe Fort is Weymouth's multi award-winning museum and visitor attraction on the Jurassic Coast. Visitors can explore a maze of underground tunnels, a Victorian Gun Deck, a WW2 gun on the Ramparts and a secret underground Nuclear Bunker, with 360 degree views of Dorset's Jurassic Coast. Every ticket includes a free Annual Pass so visitors can return throughout the year.

Opening calendar
Open daily 10.00am – 4.00pm from 28th March – 1st November 2026; Fort View Café open 10.30am – 3.30pm; closed 2nd November 2026 – 13 February 2027 for maintenance work.

- Adult £11.00, Concession £9.50 (over 65s, service personnel, veterans, students), Child 5-16 £4.50, Under 5 Free, Family 2+2 £26.50, Small Family 1+2 £15.50; every ticket includes a free Annual Pass, and one registered carer is admitted free of charge.

- There is an accessible route into Reception, ramps around the Parade Ground, and a lift to the Magazine Level or Ramparts (lift dimensions 1150mm x 850mm, so some large mobility scooters cannot fit). Wheelchairs are available, there is one accessible toilet plus another in the Fort View Café, hearing loops are fitted at Reception, and ear defenders can be borrowed. Assistance animals are welcome, quiet visiting times are 10am–11am and 2pm–3pm, and one registered carer is admitted free with evidence such as a DLA, PIP or GP letter.

- Council operated car parks in Nothe Gardens (parking charges may apply); there are 9 disabled parking bays in Nothe Gardens, 3 of which are close to Nothe Fort.
- Dogs
- Yes — dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead and supervised at all times; assistance animals are welcome; dogs barking inside an exhibit, café or shop should be taken out to the Parade Ground to calm down.
