Highgate Cemetery is a Victorian cemetery on Swain's Lane, London, with sinuous paths winding up a steep wooded hill and ivy-clad monuments. It is still an active burial place, and one ticket covers both sides of the cemetery. Guided tours, which last around 70-75 minutes and cover the west side only, are recommended for first-time visitors.

Accessibility: The Cemetery aims to be open and accessible to all visitors. A small number of parking spaces are kept for visitors with disabilities, and Blue Badge holders may contact the cemetery to reserve a spot. Paths are steep and sometimes muddy.
Parking: No on-site or off-street visitor parking. Street parking restrictions apply on surrounding streets 10am to 12 noon Monday to Friday; after those times and at weekends, on-street parking is free. A small number of spaces are reserved for grave owners and disabled visitors (Blue Badge holders can reserve in advance).
