The Guildford Model Engineering Society operates the Stoke Park Railway at London Road, Guildford, offering public steam train rides. Founded in 1954, the society runs passenger hauling railways comprising a combined 3½" and 5" gauge raised track and a 7¼" gauge ground level track, plus narrow gauge and gauge 1 garden railways and an OO-gauge layout in its clubhouse. Public open afternoons are held once a month on Sundays from March to October, plus December.
