Fruitmarket is a free, public space for culture in the heart of Edinburgh, located on Market Street next to Waverley Station. It presents contemporary art exhibitions such as Eva Rothschild's The Void Presses The Wall, alongside live music, artist talks and events, and houses a bookshop and cafe. Its online archive dates back to the first exhibition in 1974.

Three accessible toilets with support handrails, emergency alarm cords and colostomy shelves, plus baby change facilities. Guide, hearing and registered assistance dogs are welcome. Large print materials (12pt as standard), a portable hearing loop, sensory maps and sensory backpacks (with fidget toys, sunglasses, ear defenders and a drawing tablet) are available, and portable folding stools can be borrowed. Welco.me can be used to request assistance for visits.
Parking: No on-site parking mentioned. Pick up/drop off points and short stay paid parking on Market Street; long stay paid parking at Edinburgh Waverley's car park, New Street, EH8 8BH. Cycle parking available at Edinburgh Waverley between platforms 2 and 3.
