About this day out
Farfield Mill is a former Victorian woollen mill in the Western Yorkshire Dales, originally built in the 19th century with heritage dating back to 1836, which has been transformed into a cultural venue for art, craft, and heritage. It hosts exhibitions, workshops, and events, retains much of its original industrial architecture, and supports local artists with studio and exhibition space. Entry is free.

- Main entrance is accessed via a ramp; there is a lift to all levels and accessible toilets on every floor with grab rails and easy-turn taps. Free accessible parking is available 25 metres from the entrance, chairs are placed around the Mill for rest breaks, large-print information is available, and assistance dogs are welcome. Floors can be uneven due to the historic nature of the building.

- Free parking for cars, motorcycles, coaches and minibuses; free accessible parking 25 metres from the entrance. Overnight parking is strictly forbidden, and coach/minibus visitors should notify the Mill in advance to reserve a space.
- Dogs
- Dogs on a lead are welcome in the Tea Room and Gift Shop but not anywhere else in the Mill; assistance dogs are welcome at Farfield Mill. There is an unmade path towards the river suitable for walking dogs on a lead.
