About this day out

Dunblane Museum, situated at The Cross across the road from Dunblane Cathedral, houses a collection of artefacts, paintings, prints and photographs about the Cathedral and Dunblane, including one of the largest collections of Communion tokens. Its themed rooms tell stories from Dunblane's long history, from a 4000-year-old child's necklace to the 1715 Jacobite Battle of Sheriffmuir, the World Wars and the achievements of tennis stars Jamie Murray and Sir Andy Murray. The museum is run entirely by volunteers and also features a gift shop and a garden courtyard.
