About this day out
Coates English Willow Visitor Centre in Stoke St Gregory is owned and run by the Coate family, who have been growing willow on the Somerset Levels since 1819. Visitors can learn about the history and art of willow growing and basket making at the Willow Museum and film, browse the Willow Shop and courtyard shops, and enjoy walks through the withy beds, including a gentle walk or a longer circular walk along the River Tone up to Windmill Hill.
