About this day out
Clifton Suspension Bridge is a famous Bristol landmark designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The Clifton Suspension Bridge Museum on the Leigh Woods (North Somerset) side features displays and artefacts explaining how the bridge was built and how it is maintained today. Visitors can also explore the bridge's hidden vaults on Hard Hat tours or join free weekend bridge tours.
When to go
Opening calendar
Museum open daily 10am-5pm. Free weekend bridge tours run on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays at 2pm. Hard Hat Tours run between Easter and October (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and select weekends).
