About this day out

Carnforth Heritage Visitor Centre, the home of "Brief Encounter", is located at Carnforth Station, Warton Road, Carnforth. It hosts popular Model Railway Exhibitions in April and August, with forthcoming attractions including a 1940s weekend celebrating the 80th anniversary of the film Brief Encounter, a planned beer fest, a Christmas market, and a CHVC luxury train. The centre is currently undergoing refurbishment and restructuring, with a steering group appointed to run its operations.
