The experience
About this day out
Braemar Castle is a community-run castle in the Cairngorms National Park, leased to the local community in 2007 after being at risk of closure and now run by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Visitors can take a journey into living history and learn how the castle transformed from a redcoat garrison to a high society retreat with Royal connections. A free digital guide with interactive map, room-by-room tour and audio commentary is available on the Bloomberg Connects app.
